in 1891, the two approx. 13-hectare Protestant cemeteries to the north and south of Holländerstraße were laid out. the first burial took place in 1907. Until the construction of the cemetery chapel at Golgatha-Gnaden-Friedhof in 1969, the chapel of Johannes-Evangelist-Friedhof, built in 1893, was used for funeral services. The latter cemetery is now closed for new burials. The cemetery contains more than 520 individual graves with victims of the First and especially the Second World War. (Martin Bayer, 04.05.2020)
