German military cemetery 1914/18 Cemetery size: 221 m² The cemetery was surrounded by a ring fence which was repaired by Bundeswehr reservists on behalf of the Volksbund in 2004. The entrance is bordered by 3 concrete pillars. In the center is a granite monument with the text: GERMAN WAR CEMETERY BIRSNEK 1914-1918 HERE REST 26 GERMAN SOLDIERS GARDE RGT. Z. FUSS. In September 1998, the monument was knocked over by unknown persons and its lower part broken.
