The First World War military cemetery in Birolit was restored in 1999. Around 300 soldiers are buried here. The site is 3,213 m² in size and is surrounded by an earth wall. The graves are marked by groups of symbolic crosses. The central memorial is a 2.5 m high metal cross. Here is also the memorial message: HERE REST SOLDIERS, VICTIMS OF THE FIRST WORLD WAR
