Baku

In 1995, the prisoner of war cemetery in Baku/Azerbaijan was restored. Around 80 prisoners of war rest here. The site is 620 square meters in size and is surrounded by a wall. The graves are marked by gravestones. The central memorial is a 2.5 m high metal cross. Here is also the memorial statement: HERE REST POWS, VICTIMS OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR The cemetery was dedicated in 1996.
