Total Occupation: 63 fatalities

This British military cemetery is the resting place of 63 German soldiers who died in the First World War. Aus was the site of a German defensive position in 1915 that was never used. It was later the site of a prisoner of war camp and the majority of South African and German deaths resulted from the influenza epidemic of 1918. Source: CWGC
