The First World War military cemetery in Aljanowo was restored in 1996. Around 80 soldiers are buried here. The site is 800 square meters in size and is surrounded by concrete posts with hanging metal chains. The graves are marked by grave slabs. The central memorial is a 4.5 meter high metal cross.
