The military cemetery of Zaluskie/Zalusken is located approx. 3 km east of Skottau/Szkotowo between Salusken, Lusako and Skottau. The village lies in the area of the municipality of Neidenburg/Nidzica and the cemetery in the district of the municipality of Koslau/Kozlowo, on a hill in the forest. The cemetery is approx. 100 m² in size and the graves are arranged in three rows. The soldiers of the German army rest in individual graves occupying the first two rows and part of the third row, in which there are also two mass graves in which soldiers of the Russian army rest. On the graves made of heaped up earth there are desk-like plaques with the names, unit numbers and date of death of the fallen. Only the number of fallen soldiers is engraved on the plaques on the graves of the Russian soldiers. A total of 15 soldiers of the German army and 32 soldiers of the Russian army are buried here, killed on August 28, 1914
