The prisoner of war cemetery in Zalka was restored in 1998. 225 prisoners of war are buried here. The site covers 500 square meters and is surrounded by a metal fence. The graves are marked by groups of symbolic crosses made of granite. The central memorial is a 2.5-metre-high basalt cross, which also bears the memorial message: HERE REST POWS OF WAR, VICTIMS OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR
