Prisoner of war cemetery 1939/45
The district town of Valga is located in southern Estonia, directly on the Latvian border.
In the period from January 1945 to November 1947, around 244 mainly German prisoners were buried at the prisoner of war cemetery

was completed in 1998. Inscriptions in the central square list the names and
and dates of the German and Hungarian war dead buried here.
The cemetery is maintained by Mr. Jaak Tiints.
