The prisoner of war cemetery in Tambow-Rada was restored in 1998. Around 24,000 prisoners of war from 22 nations rest here. The site covers 25,000 square meters and is surrounded by concrete posts with metal pipes. The graves are marked by groups of metal crosses. A granite-paved walkway and a memorial square with 12 granite steles with inscriptions in two languages and 2 flagpoles. The central memorial is a 4.5 meter high wooden cross. Here is also the memorial statement: HERE REST WAR SURVIVORS, VICTIMS OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR The cemetery was inaugurated on August 8, 1998.
