The prisoner of war cemetery in Tairowa was restored in 1998. On
approximately 45 prisoners of war rest here.
The site is 1,500 square meters in size and is surrounded by a basalt wall.
The central memorial is a 4.5 meter high granite cross. The graves are marked by
Marked by groups of symbolic crosses.
There is also a commemorative message on the high cross:
