in 1998, the prisoner of war cemetery was redesigned. 3,873 prisoners of war were buried here in comrades' graves. The cemetery is approximately 500 square meters in size and is surrounded by basalt kerbstones. The graves are marked by groups of symbolic crosses. The central memorial is a 3.5-metre high granite stone cross with the commemorative message: RESTING PLACE OF GERMAN COMBATAN WARFARE GIVERS 1941 - 1945
