Cemetery of German war dead

130 people are buried here who died under the effects of war in the years
1940 to 1945. The victims are predominantly
Civilians, including children and unknown soldiers.

<>bBombing victims

The bombing raids on the town of Saalfeld in 1944/45 claimed the lives of
a total of 234 men, women and children fell victim to the bombing raids.
128 of these victims are buried here.

Soviet grove of honor

76 Soviet soldiers who died or were killed rest here in individual graves,
Prisoners of war and forced laborers, as well as in a collective grave under the
Obelisk 19 Soviet citizens who were shot by fascists near Unterwellenborn on April 12, 1944
Unterwellenborn by fascists.
