The prisoner of war cemetery in Kagan was restored in 1999. 223 prisoners of war are buried here, 54 of whom are known by name. The site covers 1,196 square meters and is surrounded by a metal fence. The graves are marked by grave slabs. The central memorial is a 6-metre-high metal cross, which also bears the memorial message: HERE REST POWS, VICTIMS OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR
