Berlin-Wedding, Französischer Friedhof III

The 1.1 hectare French Cemetery III was established in 1866 by the French Reformed community of Berlin as their third cemetery, after those on Chausseestraße (1780) and Liesenstraße (1835). in 1883, the cemetery was given a mortuary which was also used as a chapel. The congregation were descendants of the Huguenots who had once immigrated here. The cemetery is now owned by the Consistory of the French Church in Berlin. 27 individual graves and a collective grave of 20 m² with victims of war and tyranny are located in the cemetery.
