The First World War military cemetery in Beresa was restored in 1994. Around 480 soldiers are buried here. The site covers 4,800 square meters and is surrounded by an earth wall. The graves are marked by grave slabs. The central memorial is a 4.5-metre high metal cross, which also bears the memorial message: HERE REST SOLDIERS, VICTIMS OF THE FIRST WORLD WAR
