Berdytschiw (Berdytschew)

The site in Berdychiv is a prisoner of war cemetery that was repaired in 2003. 1,200 dead are buried here. They find their final resting place on approx. 5,000 m². The beautifully situated site is very topographical and is enclosed by a metal fence. The center of the site is formed by a granite high cross. A memorial plaque commemorates the dead who lie there. There are also groups of symbolic crosses scattered around the area, which break up the landscape.
