The Bari Mausoleum in Italy is a memorial and military cemetery of the Italian burial service for soldiers who died overseas in both world wars. The site was inaugurated on December 10, 1967. The war cemetery is located on the south-eastern outskirts of Bari. In 1952, the Italian burial service carried out reburials there from a comrades' grave in the city cemetery of Patras/Greece. These were inseparable remains of German and Italian fallen soldiers. The names of the German fallen were then inscribed on a name plaque by the Italian burial service.
