In 1995, the prisoner of war cemetery in Baku/Azerbaijan was restored. 80 prisoners of war are buried here. The site is 620 square meters in size and is surrounded by a wall. The graves are marked by gravestones. The central memorial is a 2.5 m high metal cross, which also bears the memorial message: HERE REST POWS, VICTIMS OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR The cemetery was inaugurated in 1996.
