According to the information available to us, a total of 56 dead from the Second World War and the tyranny rest in the lower left rear section of the cemetery in well-kept grounds. In addition, there are several other graves in section E. The dead are German soldiers and civilians injured in the bombing raids from Osnabrück who died in military hospitals and in the Strang auxiliary hospital, but also Soviet prisoners of war and Soviet and Polish forced laborers, as well as some of the more than 100 deceased children of forced laborers and later DPs from the Galisch children's home. They all died between 1944 and 1946. Photos: Volker Fleig 2012
