Total Occupation: 6 fatalities

Open all year round

According to the information available to us, a total of 6 dead from the Second World War and the National Socialist tyranny rest in 2 small graves in this cemetery. They all lost their lives in an Allied air raid on April 5, 1945. In detail: - at the front right of the wall: 3 German soldiers, presumably escorts and guards of the prisoner marching column; - on the main path to the right in front of the chapel: 3 Serbian prisoners of war who died when the marching column was attacked by low-flying aircraft on today's B 217 in the Flegessen area. The inscriptions on the gravestones are difficult to read and need to be cleaned. Photos: Volker Fleig 2014
