Bad Kreuznach, Lohrer Wald

The 1,300 dead from scattered graves from the Kreuznach cemeteries, the deceased prisoners of war from Galgenberg and Bretzenheim were transferred to the "Lohrer Wald" resting place, as well as 300 dead from the burial sites set up by the Americans in Ingelheim, Weiler Wald and Aulenbach near Baumholder and 250 from communities in the districts of Alzey, Bingen, Simmern and Birkenfeld.
