Bad Bentheim, Ev.- ref. Friedhof

According to the information available to us, a total of
39 dead of the Second World War and 3 soldiers of the First World War in 2 grave fields surrounded by
Grave fields surrounded by hedges in the middle front part at the height of the
Cemetery nursery and in the rear central part of the cemetery.
The dead are German soldiers, 2 female Wehrmacht helpers and some
Civilians who died in Bentheim military hospitals, during air raids in 1944 and in the
april 1945 during the final battles or shortly afterwards
lost their lives.
