the prisoner of war cemetery in Atkarsk was restored in 1999. 792 prisoners of war are buried here. The site covers 3,965 square meters and is surrounded by a moat. The graves are marked by groups of symbolic crosses. The central memorial is a 4.5 m high metal cross.
