Armoniskiai

The Armoniskiai cemetery (approx. 3,000 m² in size, occupied by around 1,000 German and Russian soldiers) was repaired by the Volksbund in 2007 at the request of the German Embassy. Soldiers from the Bundeswehr helped with the work. The site is now visible again as a war cemetery. A metal high cross was erected at the central point and an earth wall surrounds the lawned grave area.
