the prisoner of war cemetery in Alm-Ati was restored in 1998. The cemetery is home to 15 prisoners of war who are known by name. The cemetery covers 400 square meters and is surrounded by a hedge and fence. The graves are marked by grave boxes. The central memorial is an erratic boulder with a commemorative statement: "In memory of the German soldiers who found their final resting place far from home in this cemetery
