The First World War military cemetery in Aljanowo was restored in 1996. Around 80 soldiers are buried here. The site covers 800 square meters and is surrounded by concrete posts with hanging metal chains. The graves are marked by grave slabs. The central memorial is a 4.5-metre high metal cross with the commemorative message: HERE REST SOLDIERS, VICTIMS OF THE FIRST WORLD WAR
