The prisoner of war cemetery in Abovjan was restored in 1999. On
97 prisoners of war rest on this site.
The site is 2,400 square meters in size and is surrounded by a combination of
Granite wall with basalt posts. The central memorial is a 3.5 m high granite cross
Granite cross.
It also bears the memorial message: HERE RESTS WAR SURVIVORS, VICTIMS OF THE
SECOND WORLD WAR
